The Clay Day, founded in 2015, a social enterprise which is in the exquisite handcraft jewelries trade giving support to a workshop and its beneficiaries (mainly women) in Cambodia by paying them fair prices for the raw ceramic products. Every ceramic bead is individually hand-rolled, painted, glazed and fired twice in gas kilns. Crafted with care, the entire process takes at least 15 days to completion.
We work closely with the workshop to curate new ceramic products and handcrafts these ceramic products into jewelries with hopes to create awareness and to encourage the public to be socially conscious. We aim to hire local disadvantaged girls/women to be involved in our business operations.
Every ceramic product is unique. Every person is special. Perfection lies in their differences.
